Irene (ausgesprochen Eileen) ist die große Schwester von Boniface. Wir kennen Irene schon, seit ihre Mutter mit ihr schwanger war. Damals kam die Mutter jeden Samstag mit Irenes großem Bruder Ashraf in unsere Samstags-Klinik. Ashraf hatte schwere Behinderung und verstarb leider im Oktober 2019. Die Mutter von Ashraf, Irene und Boniface starb durch einen tragischen Unfall im Januar 2015 und damals kamen alle drei Kinder zu uns. Heute ist Irene schon 9 Jahre alt und geht in die 3. Klasse. Sie ist ein fröhliches, aufgewecktes Kind.
Irene is the older sister of Boniface. We have known Irene since her mother was pregnant with her. At that time, the mother used to come to our Saturday clinic with Irene’s older brother Ashraf. Ashraf had severe disabilities and sadly he died in October 2019. The mother of the children died in a tragic accident in January 2015. We then took her three children Ashraf, Irene and Boniface into our home. Today Irene is 9 years old and in third grade. She is a happy and smart girl.
